5. And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
6. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge today that you are my Lord and Savior. I confess that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead for my sins. I come to you asking for forgiveness of all my sins. Wash me and cleanse me from all iniquity. Thank you for saving me and giving me eternal life.

Prayer for the Mind
Father God, As I read and study Your word, please give me perfect peace removing all anxiousness and doubt. Help me to keep my mind on you. Fill my mind with thoughts that honor and please you. Fill my lips with praise and thanksgiving. Transform my way I think and speak to be a reflection of you. Remove all anxiousness, nervousness, brain fog, overthinking, memory issues, and fear from my mind. Help me to focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, and lovely.
